Research Interest:

Molecular modeling: investigation on the structure and reaction mechanism of small organic molecules (especially on derivatives of carbohydrates, antibiotics and flavonoids) by means of quantum-chemical and molecular dynamics methods. Elucidation of the absolute and relative configuration of natural and synthetic derivatives by means of chiroptical, DFT and TD-DFT methods.
